Hi, I’m Delaney Maclay from Berea-Midpark High school. Ever since I can remember sports have been my life, I have always been in love with basketball but freshman year I didn´t expect to fall in love with throwing. I had wanted to do track just to keep active in the off-season and stay in shape, but it didn´t take me long to get the hang of throwing and only took me a few meets to make it to the invitationals. When I am committed to something I make sure I work on it and spend as much time improving as possible. I have had many obstacles and sadly was not able to play basketball this season due to a skull fracture during a game. I had to spend a week in the hospital and then spent a full three months recovering. But now I am back in the weight room lifting and getting ready for sophomore throwing season. I am so excited to see where the future takes me and see how hard I can push myself to be the best I can be!
