Melani Seiler '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I'm Melani Seiler. I run Cross Country, play Basketball,and run Track with Cross Country being my favorite sport. My first distance experience was toward the end of my Freshmen year of Track. I ran the 800 after lots of persuasion from my coach. I ran Cross the following season and won our conference running a 20:30. I ran at the Ohio Division 3 Girls Cross Country Regionals the same year. I recieved 16th place after running a 20:16. I'm going to improve my times this fall in my Junior season. I plan on working to break our school record of 19:53 and running in the State Cross Country Meet. My small town of Fayette is west of Toledo and close to the Michigan border. I would like to get away and experience other places. I'm used to small classes in school, but I'm easy going and open to anything. I'm not really sure on what I'd  like to major in yet but hopefully I'll figure that out soon. Thank you for your time!
