At the beginning of my freshman year, I would have never thought I'd become a varsity athlete. I'm pleased to say it's been my greatest accomplishment of high school. Cross Country and Track have taught me discipline, endurance, and teamwork. My main goal in life is to help people, in an institution greater than myself. Through sports, medicine, and the armed forces, I hope to attain this overarching purpose. In college, I hope to run for a school that offers an ROTC program, as I believe it will strengthen my character. In addition, my dream career is to become a military doctor. At the same time, I want to maintain my fitness and bond with a team by participating in collegiate sports.
