Personal Statement

I am Brooke Whisenant, a Vermilion High School student with a 4.480 GPA. I participate in volleyball, indoor and outdoor track, and football/basketball cheerleading. I am involved in my school, being a member of 4 clubs, a part of Peer Leadership, and Vice President of my class. 

Track is my passion. I love the competitive aspect and the bonds that I have been able to form. I suffered an injury during my sophomore season, but I am excited to return and see what I can accomplish. I started running in 8th grade, and have transitioned from a 100m runner to a 400m runner. Even throughout my injury, I was blessed to compete in the OHSAA Indoor State Meet (400m). I can’t wait to see what my junior season holds.
