Personal Statement

Simply put...I love Track and Field!  I would like to be able to continue my passion at the collegiate level while I obtain a degree to secure my future.  I want to be the best runner and teammate I can be, and contribute to a Track and Field Program, just like I aim to do now with both my high school and Club teams.    I am a good student and work hard at obtaining good grades.  I consider myself a well rounded young person, as I have always played multiple sports (dance, gymnastics, wrestling, figure skating, volleyball), and also pursue artistic interests, particularly through voice, musical theatre, and photography.  I love adventure, am not afraid to take on challenges, and believe that sport, in particular, track and Field, has made be a better student, friend, and athlete.  I try to live by my faith and "walk the talk."  I just want to run!  My parents always encourage me in all of my pursuits, but Track and Field is the one I see most in my future.  I am looking forward to continuing with my track passion after high school!
