Skyler Duncan (formally Russell) '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Skyler Duncan, formally Skyler Russell, I am 16 years old and I love sports! During my first year of javelin, I made the varsity team, and was named the second best thrower on the team. I was second to a senior who had thrown for 3 yrs. I threw 89 ft. at my first meet and improved all the way to my personal best of 111 ft. 3in. by the end of the season. I was invited to 2 invitationals and placed well above where they had me seeded. I have also played volleyball since 7th gr. and made the Varsity team, as a starter, my freshman yr. I was only 13 yrs. old playing against 18 yr olds! Not only do I play volleyball and throw javelin, but I played travel soccer for 11 years. I am a very caring, compassionate and kind person who also does good in school. My current core GPA is a 3.25. I am able to make people laugh and smile! I hope you have a great day!
