What separates me from other athletes is my passion and drive to exceed to do my very best. I did not start out as the top varsity runner on my team in the beginning of high school, but through pushing myself throughout my past seasons, I was able to work my way up through the ranks on my team. I have still worked hard to get my times down during with the helps of camps and cross country last summer, and I was able to shave some seconds in all of my events through training this year. This summer, I plan on attending running camps, studying for my ACTs, and training with my high school coach. I am a hard worker, and do not accept failure. I give my all during practice. My underdog story is one that I hope I can tell other runners one day. Through balancing track with my many other extracurriculars and clubs in and outside school, along with my high expectations for my AP-heavy course load, my drive for running will stay strong.
