My academic goal for college is to complete the coursework required to get into graduate school to become a physician assistant. I've been an "A" student all of my life and hope to continue as an "A" student in college.
Athletically, I aspire to compete at the college level in track and field and regularly improve my personal best. I am a very competitive person and push myself when competing against talented athletes.
I am a good track and field team candidate because I am very coachable and love to be part of a team. I encourage my teammates when I'm not preparing for or running an event.
I am different from other recruits in character in that I am not always out for myself. My coaches have at times taken me off my race (the 800m) to run other events when needed. I consider myself to be a good friend---I think this speaks to my character. Also, I try to make sound decisions and keep out of trouble. I am different from other recruits athletically because I am strong and versatile. I also played field hockey in high school and won several honors in this sport. I differentiate myself from other recruits academically in that I am dedicated to learning. I am a high honor student.
