I have been training as a competitive Gymnast since the age of 6. I have been so fortunate to find a passion and be able to work toward goals at such a young age. I had trained up to a level 9 as a gymnast. Being a gymnast taught be discipline and shaped who I am today. The end of 2019 I discovered pole vaulting and I have never looked back. I have only been doing the sport for a little over 1 year and I am proud to say I was the number 1 seed going into Districts and finished with a silver medal achieving my PR of 11.0'. I would have loved to win but now have something to work even harder for 2022.
I currently have a GPA of 3.85 and I am looking to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. My goal is to work with athletes to assist with recovery of injuries so they can come back healthy and strong. I want to be able to give this back to others so they can also achieve their goals.
I would really like to continue my pole-vaulting career in college as well. I was so lucky to learned balance and discipline at a young age and to be honest this is all I know. I work hard academically so I can also achieve my goals and train to excel in my sport. I feel my work ethic, resilience, and the goals I have set for myself will make me an excellent team member and student. I am so excited for what the future holds.
