Ashley Neice '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been involved in sports ever since I was young. I have competed in soccer, basketball, softball, and ballet other than track and field. My strongest assets have always been my agility and eagerness to take on every new challenge that came my way. I am also team oriented, and I enjoy being with other people. My dream, ever since I started to compete in track and field, was to compete in track and field at the collegiate level. 

                I work hard every day, on and off the field, to make sure I achieve my goals. My mindset is to have fun and to beat myself. I practice a little bit of everything each time I get the chance to practice, like foot work or making sure the disc comes out the right way of my hand. I train everyday with my coaches and I see big achievements for myself in the future. I believe I am very coachable and that there is always room for more improvement.

                Academically, I work towards getting a higher GPA and am involved in school activities as much as possible. Clubs that I am apart of are F.R.I.E.N.D.S. club, Movies with Children, and a newer club that donates money towards veterans. I am also Chapter President of a club called Best Buddies. In addition to the school clubs, I volunteer at my church. I teach CCD classes and alter serve as well. I want to attend a college where I am able to challenge myself academically and on the field. I am open to all options and hope to find a college where I can compete at the highest level. 

      I want to make the most of my college experience. I feel it is a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent a college as a scholar and as an athlete. I am more than willing to put in the work to make this dream come true.
