Céline Marks '16 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed running. I have been part of running clubs every year since grade 2 and competed in numerous competitions. Running is the sport I’ve consistently loved and enjoyed doing. Being a swimmer and a triathlete for some time in my life provided me a sense of pleasure but I always knew deep down that my real passion was running.

I am a dedicated and hard worker. Being a full time athlete and a level nine piano player permitted me to stay focused and organized in my high school years. I am disciplined and respectful with my superiors. I am patient and I accept criticism especially if it will help me move forward to become a better person or a better athlete.

Fortunately for me, I’ve been educated in different countries around the world, which allowed me to study in English, French and Spanish.  I’ve been privileged to study in private schools; I therefore think that I have a strong academic background. I take my education very seriously and I am hoping to attend a school that will help me become an even better student. I work very hard to get the best grades.

My biggest dream is to get a scholarship in the USA and represent a university. I would love to get the opportunity to study in the States and practice the sport that I always loved; running.
