Avery Aldridge '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a first year thrower and have only been throwing for 7 months. I have made great progress just from the first meet this season to now. I was a competitive dancer for 9 years and even if someone told me last year that I was going to throw for track and field, I would not have believed them. Joining volleyball and track and field this year has really helped me transition into high school. I love going to games and meets to cheer everyone on, and making friends even from other schools. As much as I love the feeling of setting a new personal record, I love being able to witness my friends set new records too. While at meets I have made some great memories not just next to the circle, but in the circle as well. The feeling of silence when I step into the circle is the only time my brain goes quiet, and the circle becomes an outlet for anything I need. Personally, inside the circle has become the best place to be.
