My name is Addison Smith and I am a dedicated student-athlete who attends Aledo High School in Aledo, Texas. My love for sprinting began in 2021 when I wrapped my 8th grade middle school season and began competing with my club team. Throughout the past few years of sprinting I have made it to regionals as a freshman and sophomore, been nominated athlete of the week in my area, been ranked in the top 20 for Texas 5A, and been voted as one of top 200m athletes of the 2025 class in Texas. Although I am a dedicated athlete, I am also serious about school and my grades. I am enrolled in all advanced courses while maintaining a gpa of 4.29 weighted. When it comes to bettering myself as an athlete, I am in the gym at-least 3 times a week lifting weights, and I am on the track the rest of the time. In terms of furthering my track and field career, I need a coach that can get me to the next level of sprinting and better me as a person at the same time. After college, I aspire to compete at an even higher level because I want to try my best to make a career out of what I love doing most. I can’t wait to see what the future brings me and my sprinting career as I keep working towards my full potential.
