Taylor La Barge '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a pole vaulter based in Austin Texas and I vault year round at Austin Pole Vault. I want to vault at the collegiate level. I jumped 12'1" at the Texas A&M Bluebonnet in March 2025. I placed 1st in Pole Vault at the 2025 Texas UIL 6A District 26 meet with a jump of 12' 2". I also placed first at the Texas UIL 6A Area 25 & 26 meet with a jump of 12’. I placed 3rd at the Texas UIL Regional Championships with a Jump of 12'.  I jumped a personal best of 12'3.25" at the APV Regional Qualifier in May.  I placed 1st at Port Aransas Beach Vault in June 2025 with a jump of 12'. I qualified and jumped for the championship division of Nike Outdoor Nationals in Eugene Oregon in June 2025.  I plan on attending the Chapman Family Expo meet, Pole Vault Summit in Reno and the Texas A&M High School Indoor meet all in January 2026 and Nike Indoor Nationals in March 2026 with my club APV.  In addition, my senior track season with Westlake will include Texas A&M Bluebonnet High School Invitational 2026 and Texas Relays 2026.  My club hosts meets regularly as I am working on jumping 12'6" and have goals of 13'.    

I am also a Varsity Athletic Trainer at Westlake High School and had the opportunity to work their 2024 Football State game at the Dallas Cowboy's AT&T Stadium. I want to work in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy or Orthopedics after I graduate.
