Jadyn DeVerna '24 Recruiting Profile

I am an exceptional candidate because I am extremely well-rounded.  I am a diligent student, leader, and athlete, and I excel in multiple arenas.  My commitment to excellence is reflected in both my academic and athletic endeavors. I am unique in that I also have a plethora of leadership and volunteer experience.  I serve as Junior Class President and am active in the American Cancer Society chapter at my school (executive leadership), UIL Academics, Business Professionals of America (recently qualifying for State), and NHS.  I also volunteer every Sunday at my church and serve in many capacities, including production, teaching middle schoolers, and stage management.  My faith has always been the foundation of who I am and what I do. I am confident that my leaders, teachers, and coaches would attest to my character on and off the track.  Running in college would be a dream come true, and I look forward to this next chapter of my athletic career!
