I've been throwing with my dad since middle school and I started throwing so we could spend time together, and throwing has just been a way I can have fun and connect with him and just live out my dreams for him. Other than throwing, I'm very active in my community. I love to help out on the weekends at church and at a food pantry and so far I have about 100 hours of volunteer work. Honestly taking time to help other people just makes me feel happier in a sense to know that as a teenager I can still impact the lives of people in my community. That's also why I became an elementary girls' small group leader, not only because I want to serve in my church but also because I want to give younger girls a role model and overall do anything to give them any form of guidance. I also try my best to stay active in my school community by participating in clubs and volunteering anytime they need any form of help wether it be for an event or to just run concessions on the weekend.
