From the time when I was little to now, I have always been competitive, running against the boys and running around in circles non stop. My name is Aiyana Reyes and I am a student at Coronado High School in El Paso, Texas. I have been competing in track and field since I was eight years old. Growing up, sports have introduced me to many great, influential athletes, new experiences and opportunities, and what it is like to work together efficiently with others as well as doing my part to grow as a person and an even greater athlete. Not only have sports taught me to work towards my goals, they have led me to take a greater responsibility in school and strive to be above average.
I am interested in pursuing my sport in college and take my athletic abilities to the next level. I am very dedicated and a hard worker, I always want to improve. I am excited for the future as sports have shaped me into the person I am today, helping me develop new skills and allowing me to work well with others. I believe that I have what it takes to endure the long, hard practices, tough meets, and lead my fellow teammates to be the best we can be.
