Mia Evans '20 Recruiting Profile

After high school my goal is to throw shot put and study in sociology and education at any college that'll accept me. What makes me a good candidate is that I know what struggle is. I know how to overcome my struggles and succeed without any doubt about it. I'm very flexible and able to communicate with my coaches and teammates respectfully. Being one of the only female thrower at my high school I come up with my own work outs that focus on balance, strength, and speed. Outside the classroom I'm a very social person and love to joke around, but when it comes to being in the classroom I'm focused on my work and only speak when it's necessary.
