Hi, I’m Courtney McCracken, a 16 year old junior at Trinity Valley High School (Class of 2025). I'm a two+ sport athlete running track for my high school and playing club and varsity soccer. I'm naturally competitive on the track and like racing. My strongest distances are the 800m (2:14.37) and the 1600m (5:08.39). I'm currently ranked in the Texas Top 50 in both events. Last year, I placing 1st in the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m at the Southwest Preparatory Conference Championships as a sophomore. I have solid 400m (1:00.95) and 3200m (11:17.54) times. In the past, I have only really focused on track during our HS track season while competing in soccer year round. This fall, for the first time I ran cross-country finishing 3rd at the SPC 3a Championship and having a season best time of 19:21.9 in the 5000m. I’d really like the opportunity to run track at the collegiate level at a school with a strong engineering program and potentially be a two sport athlete. Many of my top choices are Div I and III due to their academics.
