Lorraine Martineau '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Lorraine Martineau and I currently attend V.R. Eaton high school. I started running two years ago and want to keep running past high school. I have a 3.94 GPA and take Honors classes, in order to give myself more of a challenge academically. My favorite event is the 800, but I also love the longer races like the 5k. I enjoy running because you control your races and it’s all about how mentally strong you are. Running has taught me that I am capable of so much and hard work will always pay off while pure talent will die out eventually. Outside of running I love drawing and being around kids, I’d like to go into the education field as an adult and I think I’d like to teach some kind of math.
