Personal Statement
My name is Chrishauna McDaniel and I am a Jr. at Hitchcock High school in Hitchcock Texas. I love track and field and I am very dedicated to track. I run the 100 meter's, 200 meter's, 4x100, 4x200 and I also long jump. My freshman year I made it to state in the 100 meter's and in the 4x100 and the 4x200. And my sophomore year I made it to state in the 4x100 and the 4x200, we did not when state, but this year my jr year I am determined to walk away with a state medal. I am very dedicated to track so I train for track in season and during off season. I have been running track every since I was twelve years old with Mainland jaguars track club. My first year running with Mainland jaguars I became a junior Olympic finalist in the 100 meter's . I ran with the same Track club the following year and made it to the junior Olympic again only this time I made in the 100 meter's and 200 hurdle's. The following summer I switched track clubs and I started running for Texas heat and made it to the championship in the 100 meter's and long jump. I know I have what it takes to help your team win. I have the skills and the mind set for track, and I have always wanted to run in college while obtaining my degree at the same time. I plan to major in Pre- Med and become a pediatric orthopedic surgeon or a chiropractor. I currently have a 3.1 GPA and I work hard in school to be at the top of my class, I know with hard work, dedication, and support I can achieve my goals. I was also elected for the National Society of High school Scholars.
