Emma Mayes '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I’m Emma Mayes a sophomore from Johnson City Texas. My plan is to go to college for Criminal Justice  to become a future detective.  I was introduced to cross country and track in the seventh grade an immediately fell in love with running. As a freshman me an my 4 by 4 team made it to area. As a sophomore my cross country team and I made it to state and placed 4th at regional. I want to run at a college level in the near future.  My personal records are 14.30 minutes for the 2 miles, 67 seconds for the 400, and 2.47 minutes for the 800. I work hard and push myself to achieve my goals. For example ,I work in and out of season so i can achieve my past goals and have higher ones for the next seaso.
