My name is Katelynn Ashmore. I am a long distance runner from Magnolia, Texas. I am in the graduating class of 2019 at the Magnolia High School. I participate in cross country and track at Magnolia High School. My primary events, in track, are the 3200m and the 1600m. Sometimes I like to switch it up a bit and throw in the 800m. I have ran both cross country and track since seventh grade, and every season I continue to show more and more improvement. After I graduate high school I aspire to further my academic and running career at a university. My preferred field of study is health care, specifically physical therapy. I can see myself in physical therapy because I love helping others, especially other athletes. In addition to receiving a degree, I would love to run cross country and track at a university. I consider myself driven, ambitious, dedicated, and always hard working. I have good grades and challenge myself with all Pre-AP and AP classes. I am in the top ten percent of my graduating class, and I am determined to keep it that way. I am always setting new goals and aiming to be the best in everything I do.
