I’ve been passionate about track and field since I began competing at the age of 8. The sport has taught me discipline, perseverance, and goal-setting—all values I carry with me every day. I train year-round and continually push myself to improve in both practice and competition. My ultimate goal is to compete at the collegiate level and be part of a program where I can grow as both an athlete and a student.
As a homeschooler, I’ve learned to be self-motivated and organized, and I’m starting a dual credit program this year to further challenge myself academically. Outside of track, I live and work on a ranch where I help care for cattle, sheep, donkeys, chickens, dogs, and cats. I plan to pursue a career in animal medicine and am especially interested in veterinary science. When I’m not training or caring for animals, I enjoy photography—capturing life on the ranch is one of my favorite things to do.
