Olivia Carney '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Olivia Carney and I am about to be an incoming senior at Rockport Fulton High School. Growing up in Australia and moving to American had a very important impact on who I was going to become athletically. I have been doing Pole vault since 8th grade, and since the beginning i’ve had a love for it, one I haven’t felt in anything else i’ve done. From a very early age, I used to run and compete but it was never fully making me happy, and when pole vault was added to my life, it just got 10x better. I love going to practice and I thank God for the opportunity to wake up everyday and pick up a pole, God has been an important person in my life to get my mindset to where it is, and I try to live everyday like him. In college i want to be the teammate that can lift up anyones doubts about themselves, I want to not only set the standard through my actions, but also overachieve it. I do everything with the intent of getting better and learning something new with each jump.
