Veronica Diaz '18 Recruiting Profile

  Collegiate goals of mine are very high, since I started my track and field experience in middle school. I have been apart of the lake view varsity track team since my freshmen year of high school. I've had a passion for track and field beginning my 7th grade year, when I was aslo introduced to pole vault.

As the years passed by, as a sophomore I earned 1st place at the District and Area meet, also earned 3rd place at regionals in pole vault, and I was awarded with the hollands award for my 2016 track season.

  Something about my character that I was blessed with was the ability to have the leadership skills, to encourage my teammates to strive for greatness. I am so passionate about this sport that I will continue to work hard, until I achieve my goal to becoming a college athlete.
