My name is Alana Robin Holloway, and I am currently attending Spearman High School. I am 5'3" and weigh less than 115 pounds. I have been to the state track meet every year of my high school career however, 2018 was my best year because I was finally able to run with little to no pain. My greatest accomplishment was when I won the state championship title in 2018 running the 300 meter hurdles. The reason that this accomplishment was so great, was because just 9 weeks before the state meet I had to have compartment surgery. After the surgery I was in so much pain that I did not think I could recover in time for my junior track season however, I ended up recovering faster than expected and jumped right into it. At first it was rough but I finally got it together right before regionals and wound up winning the state meet. In track I have received All-State every year since my freshmen year and intend to do the same during my senior year. My main goal is to continue getting better and to never stop striving to help improve the team. I drive to push myself harder at every practice and at every meet to achieve these goals. At college I plan on pursuing a degree in nutritional sciences to continue my passions and interests of staying healthy and being ones best self. To achieve these goals I plan on pushing myself to prove that I am capable at competing at a collegiate level.
