RenaeJah Burtenshaw '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is RenaeJah Burtenshaw, I go to Hoquiam Middle School. I am an 8th grade track athlete and my goal here is to do good in school and focus on my dream to get a full ride scholarship to Oregon. This is my 2nd year doing track, Its funny because my first year ever doing track I started out running in my basketball shoes running 13s and still winning in 1st place. My second year I got spikes and that made me so much faster. Eventually I started running 12s. In the summer I went to compete for Junior Olympics I ended up making it all the way to Eugene Oregon to compete in Nationals, I didn't win but it was a great experience for future reference. I am a good candidate for my team because I work very hard, I strive to improve, I fix my mistakes, I listen very well, I never give up, I always try something different, and I have good sportsmanship.
