My name is Dorcas Atieno, and I am passionate about both academics and athletics. I’ve been a dedicated runner since 7th grade, and my commitment has grown stronger in high school. I balance my academic schedule, maintaining a high GPA, with demands of training and competition. This discipline and time management makes me a strong candidate for your team.
My ultimate goal is to become an anesthesiologist, and I’m committed to pursing both a career in medicine and continued success in running. What sets me apart from other recruits is my ability to excel in both arenas academics and athletics. Running has taught me perseverance, goal setting and resilience which is qualities that apply in my studies that will help me contribute to the team.
