Briana Pires '24 Recruiting Profile

I am not certain what my major will be, in could be law, it could be finance, it might even be psychology!  I am a motivated and hard working athlete and I pride myself in being coachable. I try to absorb everything I am told and do my best to implement the advice into my performance.  

Personally, as an Asian-American, born in the Philippines, I have strong family ties. Raised to respect my parents and elders. However, I am also not one to hide my voice and I do enjoy debating moral, political or ethical topics in a respectful way.  In addition to being born in the Philippines, I have also lived 3 years in England (2016-2019). This was a fantastic opportunity to travel throughout Europe and I have a great appreciation for all types of cultures.

Academically, I work hard and do the best I can to achieve the highest marks possible.  I would say that I am not obsessed with good grades like some are, but I do my best and I pride myself in my work ethic. As my Dad would say, "She's a good kid!"
