Eilidh Keuss '21 Recruiting Profile

I believe in striving for excellence in all aspects of life. Working hard in sports and academics is part of this commitment.   In my academic pursuits, I am deeply curious about the world around me, and studying Biology has been my goal since I was very young. When I entered high school and joined pole vaulting on the Track and Field team, I realized that curiosity about the world could be extended in my academics through the personal connections I built as part of the team that challenged me to grow and succeed. I am driven in both my intellectual and athletic pursuits as seen by my academic and athletic accomplishments.  Yet I recognize that it is the power that the broader community brings by being in these groups that real success comes from. I am more of an integrated member at my high school due to the teams I chose to join and compete with. I hope that I can continue to grow and contribute to a team and academic community as an athlete and scholar as an active part of my future college and find lasting community in giving to my school and the lives of my teammates.
