Alexa Callanan '22 Recruiting Profile

Running and track are my passion, and I am determined to break the Olympic records for the 100 and 200-meter dash. I enjoy being a leader and a role model to others. I am always ready to push myself to become a better student and athlete. With this in mind, one of my big accomplishments was being awarded athlete of the year. My motivation drives me to push myself further and harder than before. One of the reasons that I love running track so much is that I am my own competition.  As long as I continue to beat and outdo my personal bests, I will continue to grow, and the possibilities are endless.

As an athlete, I respect my body and my mind. I understand the value of education, and that knowledge also gives me strength. I am excited to start my college career, and  I plan to become an entrepreneur majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing.
