2024 HighlightsMy goal is to graduate from Rainier High School with an Associates in Arts degree from Centralia College, and then plan to attend a college for track and field, and continue my degree with becoming a livestock veterinarian. In the classroom I am very academically strong, and hardworking, by allowing input any time it can be given, and being able to stay on top of my academics by being very well organized. Along with this, I am very well on top of my work, while being able to take on more by providing extra help with my teachers, whether they need poster made, prom tickets done, letters of recognition helped with or any other categories towards that. I choose to be the best I can in my classroom, because academics are very important to me. Now athletically, I have been running track since my 7th grade year. I have ran the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x1 relay, 4x2 relay, and have ran the 4x4 relay. I am very dedicated to this sport.I also just started running cross country as a junior, and was able to bring home a 1st place team trophy, and an 11th place state medal.I believe that I would be a great asset to a team due to the fact that I am coach-able, I take in criticism well and try to use it to become a better and stronger athlete, I'm very hard working, and am a great teammate. I also as an athlete have had to learn how to overcome big obstacles. My freshman year of basketball I tore my ACL, dislocated my knee cap, and hyper extended my leg. With this injury I had to learn to find faith, gratitude and become an even harder worker. So if coach asked for 5 sets of something I would do another, to prove I was ready to get out there again. Once track then started up I was eager to go out and show that one injury doesn't define who I am. It still to this day don't let anything hold me back, and that's why I believe I would be a great athlete moving forward.
