Madeleine Koenig '24 Recruiting Profile

I started pole vaulting freshman year of high school. I did gymnastics for 6 years and it came naturally to me. My desire to improve at pole vaulting led me to off-season work at Northwest Pole Vault and it payed off with placing 7th at state with 10'6".

I want to continue pole vaulting in college because of my aspirations and desire to improve. I want to attend a college where I can continue to develop my athletic skills with the help of a knowledgeable coach and supportive teammates.

I work hard in school and athletics and push myself with performance as well as process goals to help me reach my ambitions. Track season is my favorite time of year and I believe my enthusiasm and strong work ethic will carry me far!
