I did competitive gymnastics from 8-14 years old. Gymnastics taught me to be mentally tough and not let fear or pain get in the way of winning. Throughout my gymnastics career I have won the state meet and competed at regionals for level 8. Gymnastics has also taught me how to lean on my teammates and have their backs; it has made me a better person as a whole. I started running track as a freshman in high school because my middle school did not have a track program. I fell in love with sprinting and love the feeling of sprinting my hardest and coming out on top. I'm different from other recruits because I do golf, gymnastics, and track. These three diverse sports have helped shape me into the person I am today. My goal in academics is to remain at an unweighted 4.0 GPA throughout my high school career. I work hard everyday to get my homework done after a long school day and practice. My goal is to be recruited by a great college making my parents and I proud.
