Gabrielle Kennedy '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gabrielle Kennedy and as part of the class of 2018 I am hoping to earn my place on a collegiate track and field team. After qualifying to the Wisconsin State Track and Field Competition as a freshman, with a personal record of 9'6." My sophomore year I raised my personal record to 10'6" and consistently cleared 10'0" all season. This past year as a junior I vaulted 11'6" and placed 6th at the Wisconsin State Championship. I also qualified to Sectionals in the 100m High Hurdles for the past three years, and this past year also qualified in the 300m intermediate hurdles. Adding to my track success I maintain highest honors in school and a successful career as a USAG level 10 gymnast. I try my best to work hard to achieve perfection in every aspect of my life both academically and in athletics. I work hard to overcome all obstacles in my life including the sensorineural hearing loss I have in both my ear requiring that I wear bilateral hearing aids. I have adapted to my hearing loss as I adapt to all challenges I face in the classroom and on the track.
