Michaelynn Wotachek '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Michaelynn.  My family, friends, and coaches call me Kael. I am a dedicated student-athlete who strives to do my best in all I may accomplish. During the 2025-2026 school year, I will be a junior at Mishicot High School, as well as starting my first year of college at the University of Green Bay. I plan on starting college in the fall of 2027.

My academic plan is to graduate with my Associate's Degree before I graduate from Mishicot High School. Seven years of schooling is a lot, but I must do it to follow my dreams of becoming a Family Attorney at Law. Eliminating two years by attending UWGB while still in high school has always been my plan, and I am glad to see it finally coming together after all the hard academic work I have put in. I currently have a 3.926 GPA, and I would like to major in Psychology and Pre-Law.

Besides academics, I have always been proud of my athletics. While I have done countless sports in the past, I have found love in Wrestling and Track and Field as I continue to participate on the Varsity team for both. Many people believe I have "natural talent" or "natural ability", but I do not. I have put in hours upon hours of training, weightlifting, and extra practice throughout the years because I have a determination to become the best. My 'good' is not good enough, and there is always room to become better.

While viewing and deciding between colleges, I would like my future college to meet both my academic and athletic needs. The location of the college does not matter, but what it has to offer does. I hope for specific majors, such as the ones listed above, a competitive Track and Field team, a strong and healthy community, and a place where I will get pushed to be the very best I can be while still recognizing my work and dedication.
