Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Michaelynn.  My family, friends, and coaches call me Kael. I'm a freshman (9th grader) (age 15). I plan on starting college in the fall of 2027. In the past I have played basketball (point guard - shooting guard - post), football (running back - quarterback - safety - tight end - wide receiver - linebacker), wrestling, softball (catcher - right fielder), and track (high jump - long jump - 100 M - 200 M - 400 M - 4x100 Relay - 4x200 Relay). I continue to play Varsity Basketball, Varsity Track and Field, and JV2 Volleyball. I am considering going back to wrestling as my love for basketball is not as what it used to be. With all of this, I continue to train on the side. I take part in Ron Strong Performance training twice a week, along with weight and track training with my personal trainer, Chris. I also keep my grades up by working hard on my homework, quizzes, and tests. Meanwhile, I like to hang out with my friends and family, play chess, shoot hoops, clean/organize, listen to music, ride four-wheelers, and watch movies. One day, I hope to follow my dreams and run track in college along with studying for either pre-law or law, interior design, criminology, or athletic training. (It is not final what I would like to pursue in the future, but these are a few of my options that I fell in love with).
