From the moment I picked up a volleyball at age six, I knew I had found my passion. Every time I step on the court, I feel at home, and not a day goes by when I don’t crave the opportunity to play, improve, and push myself. Volleyball has been more than just a sport to me—it has been a way of life, shaping me into the person and player I am today. Each year, each coach, and each teammate has left an imprint on me, teaching me lessons that have made me stronger, both mentally and physically.
As a dual athlete in both indoor and beach volleyball, I’ve learned that dedication to this sport goes beyond just showing up to practices and games. Balancing the different demands of both variations has been a true test of my commitment. Indoor volleyball has taught me about precision, teamwork, and strategy, while beach volleyball has pushed my endurance, adaptability, and resilience. Each has challenged me in unique ways, allowing me to grow as a versatile and well-rounded player.
I’ve had the privilege of learning from coaches who demanded excellence and who pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of. They were tough, but they were also the most invested in my success, pouring everything into my development. From them, I learned the importance of hard work, dedication, and respect for the process. I’ve come to believe that when leadership is strong, the team follows, and I’ve seen firsthand how a great leader can elevate an entire group.
Playing alongside some of the best players in the game has inspired me to constantly raise the bar for myself. I’ve learned that success comes from pushing not only yourself but also your teammates to be their best. My goal is to be the kind of player who my teammates want to be around—someone who makes them better, both on and off the court. Leadership is more than just performing well; it’s about inspiring others, and that’s a role I take seriously. I want to leave an impact that goes beyond stats and wins. I want people to say, "I love playing with Jules—she cares, she leads, and she makes us better."
Volleyball has taught me invaluable lessons about teamwork, resilience, and leadership, and I am excited to continue learning and growing, bringing my passion and drive to the next level. I really do not know what I want to do after College, Maybe Business Like My Mom & Dad. My Dad is my best friend, and if I become 50% as successful and loving as my parents, I know I will have succeeded in Life. I love to Dance, make TIKTOKS, and spend most of my Time at home with my Dog BRIXX and Brother Jackson.
