I believe that as much as water polo is a fun and competitive sport, it is a place where student athletes can work on character building. Respect and character are two things that I hold very important to me, and I love that the sport of water polo can provide that for me. My aspirations are to play at a division 1 or 2 school where I can compete competitively and help my team as much as possible. Outside of water polo I play guitar, sing, paint, draw, and more. I love hanging out with friends and planning/attending team bonding events. I have been a leader on many of the teams I have been on because of my voice, presence, and role as a goalie. Effectively communicating with my defense is one of the most important things in my eyes. Winning is not the end all be all for me, although it is nice to win. I focus on the relationships that I build and the lessons that I learn from this amazing sport.
