Sophia Billy '26 Recruiting Profile

Currently, I am a junior at Laguna Beach High School, and this is my second year playing varsity.  This past summer I was on the SET 16U Black team and am now on the SET 18U team. I'm an attacker/utility, and while I prefer to play on the 1/2/side, I am versatile and can be a threat at any position.

Since I began playing in the 6^th grade, water polo has been an extremely significant part of my life.  Not only do I love the game, I love the culture and I love being part of the water polo community.  Because I value the strong personal connections I’ve made with dozens of teammates, players and coaches, I strive to continue to grow as a player, and to increase my contributions to my teams.

I am energetic, hardworking, and persistent, which contributes to my success and continued growth both in and out of the pool. My goal is to compete for a competitive collegiate program as I continue my academic progression.
