Skylar Rapp '18 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to be the best and successful in everything I do.  Whether I am in the pool or in the classroom.  I want to continue to strive and be my best in every aspect of my student and family life.  I love playing water polo, I challenge myself to not only score but be a mentor and a team player to my team.  Being on Varsity for second year now, I focus on helping the coach with JV players who are only starting to learn the game as Freshman or even as sophomores. Out of the pool, I push myself academically to apply and stay focuses.  At home I have two brothers who are extremely competitive and that keeps me on my toes. In the off season I volunteer my summer to assisting the local lifeguards at my beach with junior guard camp. Daily we are responsible for teaching 8 through 13 year olds everything about our beaches and oceans. We make sure they are safe and learn about riptides, rescues and clean up. I love being outdoors and close to the water.
