Gianna Romero '26 Recruiting Profile

In the course of my water polo experience, I have grown into a driver and 1/2 player because I am able to create plays and make quick decisions under pressure. I take pride in understanding the tactical side of the game and reading plays effectively. My "team first" mentality helps me build camaraderie, both in and out of the water. 

As I've made a switch to a different club this summer, I'm looking forward to our being able to compete and bond while playing together as a team in JO Quals and beyond! 

Looking ahead long term: My goal is to continue playing at a high level, contribute meaningfully to a team culture that values dedication and excellence, and push myself to reach my full potential and beyond.
