I have been playing water polo since 6th grade when I took after my brother and fell in love with the sport. I never found the right sport to fit with me until I started playing. It has given me the confidence I had been looking for. As I have grown in the years playing, I have developed an understanding of the game both defensively and offensively. This passed year my high school team had to rebuild because we lost many seniors and players, and I was given the chance to captain our team with new younger players to help them learn as much as they can their first season. Due to this it made me discover how much I know about water polo,, strategy wise for both Offense and Defense. It opened up the game even more in my eyes. Over the years i've also learned how important it it to be coachable. Something I stand by is that, you can have the strongest shot in the pool but if you cant read the pool and have that water polo IQ in the water you will progress slower. Since my freshman year I've known I want to play at the colligate level in water polo and have been slowly working towards my goal in the pool, in the weight room, and in the classroom. For me, when it comes to something that I really want for my self, I wont stop working towards it till I reach it. I want to find the perfect fit for me, that will allow me to keep growing as a person and a player.
