Mariam NDiaye '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing water polo since freshman year of high school and I fell in love with it instantly! I decided in the fall of 2022 that I want to play in College, hopefully at the D1 level. I know that playing at that level is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that requires tons of hard work and dedication. I plan on giving it my best and working to achieve this goal. 

I currently have a 3.94 weighted GPA. I would love to major in Pre-Med at University. I am a member of 4 clubs: Med Club, Hope Squad, Black Student Union, and Student Government. 

In my second year of playing, at only 16 years old, I received many amazing awards. I am a 2022 All State 3rd Team Member along with 1st Team All Regional and My team's Offensive MVP. I have also been selected for NTSC in 2023 as well as a player of the year nominee. I was also the leading goal scorer and the youngest varsity starter! There are many videos of my games on the Mason Water Polo Youtube Channel.

After ODP I plan to start my first year on the 16U Moose Water Polo Club Team! I plan to go to the Junior Olympics with this club along with many other tournaments. I have been a swimmer for nearly 9 years! I was a part of the Mason Manta Rays, a 4x USA Swimming Gold Medal Club. I am a very good breastroker with a 50 time of 32.90 and a 100 time of 1:11.59. I am also an advid IMer.

I would absolutely love to play at the Division 1 level which can give me the training and education to be an amazing water polo player! Thank you!
