I am a hard-working student and athlete. I aspire to play on a division 1 school water polo team. I always give my full effort at practice and at school. I maintain a very high average while practicing 6 times a week. I am always on time and super organized. I play for a team from Hamilton called Hammer. I have a great bond with each and every one of my teammates. I think having a strong connection with your team can make the difference between a good team and a great team. I have an amazing positive attitude towards any situation at games and practices. I have a great endurance and most of the time play most of the game. I love swimming and I am usually the driver on the team. I often get many breakaways with my fast sprinting skills. I am a very skilled defender and will never give up on the ball. I am always an example to my teammates and other younger ages group from my club. I have helped coach my high school team and younger age groups at my club. I am very involved in all the club activities and love to organize fun events for the team.
I am on the Ontario water polo team and played in the South Florida International Tournament where we placed 1st. I also was 1 of 9 players in Canada to be selected to train with the Canadian National team before they went to the Olympics. Unfortunately this program was cancelled due to Covid-19. In May of 2020 I was selected as one of few players in Ontario to receive Quest for Gold, which is a program for athletes in Ontario to help them continue their career in water polo at the highest levels of national and international competition.
I love water polo and have been playing for 9 years. My dad grew up playing water polo and played at a very high level in Canada. I am very driven and focused in water polo and want to keep improving. I want to continue to be challenged and I am looking foward to see where my career playing water polo takes me.
