Driven- that is the word that best describes me.

Hello my name is Kieryn Blayone, grad year 2024.

I am a highly motivated Wing and Flat player who strives for excellence both inside and out of the pool. I have been playing water polo for 7 years and coaching with our club “I love water polo” program for 4 years. This year I have added the Adult Recreation learn to play program to my coaching groups. I found my love of the sport through fellow summer speed swimmers that crossed between the two water sports. Outside the pool I also enjoy recreational downhill skiing, which I have been doing for the last 13 years. I am keen to learn, goal oriented and am very coachable. I want to join a University team with strong leadership and a collective sense of team. I have not fully decided on my major, however, I am definitely looking for a school to meet my high academic standards as well as has a strong Water polo program so I can continue to play the sport I love while attending University. I hope you will consider me for your upcoming team in 2024.

Team Saskatchewan 17U Women and Men's teams travelled to Athens Greece for an 9 day training camp and an unexpected invite to participate in the Vouliagmeni Cup. The Women's team placed 5th of 8 teams. We learned many new techniques and raised our game to a new level. It was an amazing opportunity for me.
