Personal Statement

I found water polo when I was going into seventh grade and I knew right away that this was a sport I wanted to do as long as I possibly could. I love the physical and mental toughness required. I love the strategy and the fact that there is always something new to learn in the sport. And, I love the people that play this sport as well as the comradery that develops between teammates.

Currently I balance AP classwork, high school swimming, high school cross country/track, club water polo, and a job – all while maintaining straight A's,  the #1 ranking in my class, and leading my team(s) in the classroom, in and out of the pool, and on and off the track. My collegiate goal is to play the sport I love at the highest level possible while getting a top-level education. I want to be mentally and physically challenged every day so I will be prepared for medical school and eventually a career as an orthopedic surgeon.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
