Hello, my name is Taimane Benemerito and wrestling is my passion. Through wrestling, I believe that God has taught me these things and how to apply them:

- Mental Toughness: through journaling and goal setting

- Integrity: forces you to be honest with your abilities and efforts because it shows on the mat. Holding yourself accountable.

• - Industrious: wrestling is hard work

• - Humility: it reveals your weakness

• -Risk Taker: implementing new technique in matches helps building you as an individual

• -Respect: to respect others and yourself

Learning these things have helped me grow as a person and reach towards my wrestling, academic and life goals. Growing up, I have always wanted and worked for the highest grades, top of the podium and accomplishments. Sometimes not getting there, but I am still learning new things along the way. I want this college opportunity to become an engineer and I think that this is a good step for more wrestling experience, to reach my world team and Olympic goals. Thank you!
