Casey Bernabe '24 Recruiting Profile

When I was introduced to female wrestling in my sophomore year, I was hesitant to join. There was not much information on women's wrestling in my county. However, once I joined I fell in love with the sport. I hope to continue wrestling in college while getting my law degree. I am a hard worker, persistent, and believe I can always learn more. I like to give back to my community by volunteering and I'm very involved in my school. I am student body president (previously class president for two years), help set up assemblies, and am currently in many clubs. I have always enjoyed learning, so school was never too much of a burden. Writing essays or crunching numbers was fun to me, which is why I joined early college classes. I am excited and hopeful to continue my learning as I wrestle for a collegiate team.
