Right now I'm a senior at Kapaa High School. My short term goal right not is to study to take my second SAT, place at states for wrestling, push my team to be the best they can be, get into a college of my choice, win a lot of scholarships, and of course graduate from high school. My long term goals are to wrestle in college, gain a bachelors degree in elementary education, and graduate.
Being a high school senior is pretty stressful. You have to signup for scholarships, right the essays, figure out what you have to do to graduate.it's been the first two weeks and I'm already stressing on how I'm going to get into college because of my test scores. I took the first SAT without studying to see where I'm at. This next SAT I'll be taking will be a month of studying.
This year I'm going to be the team captain of our wrestling team. I've been wrestling for 2 years. This next season would be my 3rd year. On Kauai, we don't have much people that are interested in wrestling. The people on my team. They like the sport but they talk a lot during practice. My goal this year for wrestling is to push them so they tell themselves to stop talking and just drill. My personal goal for wrestling this year is to work harder than the people who are working beside me. So finding an open mat and practicing on that when we doing have practice or after practice. Working out, running. Doing 10 push ups before going to sleep. I want to succeed and place at this years states. To become the first girl to place at states from Kauai.
College. I've always wanted to go, but I had no idea where'd I'd go. I'd like to go somewhere that is similar to Kauai. Where there isn't any crime and there aren't much of natural disasters. As long as there is a women's wrestling team and has an education major I am super good. Well. that sums everything up about college.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my statement.
